I think this is a great supplement to take. I used to take oxide forms from the drug store and they were so harsh on my body. I never knew the contents from one bottle to the next. I would experience GI issues, if you know what I mean. This product is consistent and does not cause GI issues. I realize this product includes the oxide form but it's a combination of forms. I feel that I must be absorbing it since it doesn't flush right through my body. I take an extra one when I have a head ache or have an "irregular" occurrence, and I still don’t experience and stomach aches and other GI issues. The real benefits listed in the product description are the best reason to take magnesium.
