Can this multi be taken on an empty stomach?

• We suggest taking the One-Per-Day with food to avoid gastric upset. Additionally, some vitamins like vitamin D are better absorbed with meals that contain some amount of dietary fat.

Can you take this while pregnant?

• We cannot make suggestions for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding as our clinical research is not performed in that aspect, therefore we cannot verify efficacy. We suggest consulting with a physician to determine use.

What are the animal sources used in this product?

• The product contains vitamin D derived from cholecalciferol, which in turn is derived from lanolin, which is derived from lamb's wool. No sheep were harmed in the production of vitamin D.

What are the other ingredients?

• The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, croscarmellose sodium, starch, maltodextrin, dicalcium phosphate, vegetable stearate, silica, and aqueous film coating (purified water, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, glycerin).

How do I take Life Extension One-Per-Day Multivitamin?

Dosages and Directions:

Take one (1) tablet daily with meals, or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner.

Caution:

Individuals consuming more than 50 mcg (2000 IU)/day of vitamin D (from diet and supplements) should periodically obtain a serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D measurement. Vitamin D supplementation is not recommended for individuals with high blood calcium levels.
