Protein

Protein

Amino acids are the building blocks of protein and proteins are responsible for many aspects of life, including structure, function, and regulation of the body’s tissues and organs. There are a ton of different protein combinations that result in different function, but dietary protein focuses on repairing tissues in your body (such as damaged muscle fibers). When you workout, your muscles fibers tear. That’s where adequate protein consumption comes into play. The protein helps cells either create new muscle fibers or attach to the damaged ones. This results in larger stronger muscle fibers.
