What is Lipo 6 Black Training?

Introducing the newest addition to the Lipo 6 Black family, Lipo 6 Black Training! For starters, it’s not for the fainthearted. Lipo 6 Black Training is an intense pre workout formula, not a fat burner. But, if you’re looking for a fat burner you can check out the OG Lipo 6 Black or try Lipo 6 Dynamix. In this post, we’re going to go over:

  • What’s In It
  • What Compares To It
  • What To Expect
  • And More!

LIPO-6-BLACK-TRAINING

LIPO-6-BLACK-TRAINING-INGREDIENTS

What’s in it Lipo 6 Black Training?

First things first, we got a complete disclosed formula featuring around 2,578.45mg of active ingredients. Within that we have:

  • Choline Bitartrate
  • Glycersize
  • Caffeine Anhydrous
  • Theobromine
  • Di-Caffeine Malate
  • Rauwolfia Vomitoria Extract
  • Bioperine
  • Huperzine A

In this formula, we have some stimulants, pump ingredients, and some focus enhancers.

Choline Bitartrate

There are a bunch of benefits of Choline, but what it’s most recognized for is it’s role in cell structure, messaging, fat transport and metabolism, and DNA synthesis and nervous system maintenance. What this translates to is improved brain functions like memory and focus (1).

Glycersize

Glycerol promotes the prevention of dehydration, improved exercise performance, and increased muscular pumps (2).

Caffeine Anhydrous

Caffeine is one stimulant you see in almost every fat burner. It can be listed as a bunch of different names, but Caffeine Anhydrous is the most common in supplements. Anhydrous means without water. So caffeine anhydrous is a processed, dehydrated form of caffeine. So why do we like caffeine in a fat burner?

Caffeine is great for increasing/improving metabolism, appetite suppression, energy, mood and even cognitive functions like memory (3).

Theobromine Anhydrous:

Theobromine is a compound found in cacao plants and tea leaves. It has stimulant properties, so it’s most prominent effect would be the energy boost. Like other stimulants, it also has appetite suppressing properties (4).

Di-Caffeine Malate

The main difference between this and regular caffeine is a slower onset of energy, along with that same energy lasting a bit longer. †

Rauwolfia Vomitoria

One of the alkaloids of Rauwolfia Vomitoria is yohimbine. Because of this, it shares similar effects. Including its thermogenic properties. But, what makes Rauwolfia Vomitoria special is that it doesn’t raise blood pressure. In fact, it was actually used to treat hypertension (5).

Bioperine

Bioperine may increase the bioavailability of the other ingredients within this formula. But also may have its own thermogenic properties (6).

Huperzine A

Huperzine A is actually considered a natural anti-depressant. But it is also useful in improving focus. In fact, it’s been used to help treat Alzheimer’s disease (7).

Lipo 6 Black Training or OutLift?

The Outlift series is another fan-favorite from Nutrex. And like Lipo 6 Black Training, it contains a pre workout formula. There are currently 3 members in the Outlift family: Outlift, Outlift Amped, and Outlift Concentrate. We’ll go into more details below, but as for a basic rundown:

  • Compared to the OG Outlift, Lipo 6 Black Training may promote focus better.
  • But, compared to Outlift Amped, the energy components may be more potent in Lipo 6 Black Training.
  • Finally, compared to Outlift Concentrate, Lipo 6 Black Training has a better blend for pumps and endurance.

But that isn’t to say that the Outlift family isn’t intense. You will still need to follow directions and limit your intake to no more than one scoop per day.

The Outlift ComparisonsLipo 6 Black Training v outlift

The first comparison is for the OG Outlift, which features:

  • Citrulline Malate
  • Beta Alanine
  • Creatine Monohydrate
  • L-Leucine
  • L-IsoLecuine
  • L-Valine
  • Taurine
  • Caffeine
  • N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine
  • Bioperine

Just from a glance, you can tell this formula is much milder compared to Lipo 6 Black Training. In fact, the only ingredients here that are shared with Lipo 6 Black Training is the Caffeine and Bioperine. And as far as stimulants go, the only stimulants in Outlift is the caffeine. Keep in mind though 350mg of it, so it definitely more than a cup of coffee.

Instead of an energy-based formula –which most pre workouts tend to skew towards– Outlift is a pump-based pre workout. It has 8g of Citrulline Malate (the clinical dosage range is around 6-8g) and 3.2g of Beta Alanine. The Citrulline Malate is going to help boost your nitric oxide production, increase stamina, and reduce pain– allowing you to make every rep count(8,9). Then the Beta Alanine is going to help buffer away lactic acid (the burning sensation when you workout), which will help you squeeze out a couple more reps (10).

Next, you have Creatine Monohydrate at 3g, which is on the lower end of the clinical dose range (2.5-10g). Creatine is great for increasing intracellular energy, which translates to you as increased strength and power output (11).

The next three ingredients are not something we typically see in a pre workout: L-Leucine, L-IsoLeucine, and L-Valine, also known as BCAA’s. BCAA’s are great for recovery, they are more common in an intra or post workout, but kick-starting that recovery before stepping in the gym could also be beneficial (12).

The final two ingredients, Taurine and N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine, have a similar purpose, they are both focus enhancers and great for reducing the effects of stress (13,14).

Compared to Lipo 6 Black Training

As we mentioned in the overview, it’s not going to be as strong in the stimulant section. So if you’re looking for a pre workout with energy and focus, we recommend Lipo 6 BT. But, if you wanted a pre workout with a focus in pumps and endurance with some energy, than Outlift may be the better option for you.

Lipo 6 Black Training v outlift amped

Next comparison is between Lipo 6 BT vs Outlift Amped:

  • Citrulline Malate
  • Beta Alanine
  • Betaine Anhydrous
  • Creatine MagnaPower (Magnesium Creatine Chelate)
  • Taurine
  • N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine
  • Choline Bitartrate
  • Caffeine
    • Kaff2 Citrate
    • Caffeine Anhydrous
  • Theacrine
  • Bioperine
  • Rauwolscine

Glancing over the formula, not surprisingly it’s more similar to the OG Outlift than Lipo 6 BT. But with that in mind, we do have two additional shared ingredients between these formulas: Choline Bitartrate and Rauwolscine. Outside of these ingredients, the Citrulline Malate, Beta Alanine, Taurine, and N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine are shared with Outlift.

So what’s different?

Outlift Amped 5 ingredients that make it unique: Betaine Anhydrous, Magnesium Creatine Chelate, Kaff2 Citrate, Theacrine, and Rauwolscine.

Betaine Anhydrous is similar to Citrulline in that it promotes better pumps. The combination of both ingredients makes Outlift Amped great for pumps and endurance (15).

In addition to that, there was also a swap of Creatine Monohydrate for Magnesium Creatine Chelate, which may be better for absorption compared to the monohydrate. Essentially promoting the production of ATP faster and improving performance (16).

The next three ingredients are stimulants: Kaff2 Citrate, Theacrine, and Rauwolscine. The Kaff2 Citrate is for a quick boost of energy†, while the Theacrine is better for a smooth energy boost, without jitters (17). Finally, Rauwolscine, which is a common ingredient in fat burners, is an alpha-receptor antagonist that is going to promote long-lasting energy, endurance, and stamina (18).

Compared to Lipo 6 Black Training

In the overview, we stated that Lipo 6 BT may be better for energy over Outlift Amped. Comparing the labels by dosage, Lipo 6 BT has a total caffeine content of 425mg and then the 150mg of Theobromine and 2mg of Rauwolfia Vomitoria extract are all going in the stimulant complex. That’s about 176.5mg more stimulants in Lipo 6 BT compared to Outlift Amped. But Outlift excels in the pump and endurance factors of a pre workout.

So if you’re looking for an energy focus pre workout→Lipo 6 Black Training

But for a more well-rounded pre workout→ Outlift Amped

lipo 6 black training v outlift concentrate

Our last comparison is between Lipo 6 Black Training and Outlift Concentration:

  • Choline Bitartrate
  • N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine
  • Sodium Nitrate
  • Kaff2 Citrate
  • Betaine Nitrate
  • Caffeine Anhydrous
  • Rauwolscine

Outlift Concentrate is the stimulant heavy version of Outlift. As you can see from the label, there is a pump ingredient (Betaine), however, there’s only 300mg compared to the 2.5 grams that were in Amped. Instead, Outlift Concentrate has higher doses for Choline Bitartrate, Kaff2 Citrate, and Rauwolscine compared to Amped. The only unique ingredient in Outlift Concentrate is Sodium Nitrate, which helps hydration and muscular contraction (19). Every other ingredient was seen in either of the other Outlifts.

Compared to Lipo 6 Black Training

While this is the most condensed Outlift formula compared to the others, this formula is also packed with stimulants. There’s a total caffeine content of 600mg compared to the 425 that was in Lipo 6 Black Training. In this comparison, Lipo 6 Black would better for pumps
