So why the formula revision? Around April 2015, the US FDA set its eyes on an ingredient known to be in Synedrex, AMP Citrate (also known as DMBA). For all our DMAA fans, the next part of this story won&#8217;t surprise you. The FDA sent warning letters to several companies indicating their products were not in compliance with dietary ingredient conditions. This compound is a combination of two T2 thyroid hormone metabolites. These are compounds in the human body that help increase your metabolic rate. Yohimbine is an active alkaloid found in the bark of yohimbe. Yohimbine HCl, however, is a standardized form of this alkaloid. Stimulants can promote metabolism and aid in increasing fat burning. Additionally, stimulants can aid in promoting appetite suppression. This issue with a stimulant-dominant formula is tolerance. The more often you use stimulants the higher the chance of your becoming tolerant.
