Synedrex : Old VS New 2019 UPDATE

Synedrex : Old VS New 2018 UPDATE

When Synedrex, By Metabolic Nutrition, was first released; it’s following was huge. So why the formula revision ? Around April 2015, the US FDA began targeting a famed ingredient in Synedrex, AMP Citrate. For all our DMAA fans, the next part of this story won’t surprise you. AMP Citrate was no longer classified as a dietary supplement and had to be removed from products.  Our OLD label of Synedrex represents this formula.

The Old:

The old formula of Synedrex featured many different ingredients from its newest generation. This formula contained vitamin B3, B6, and B12, as well as Chromium. In it’s Proprietary Blend, there were 920 mg of active ingredients. This included:

  • Methylxanthine
  • Sulbutiamine
  • Sandalwood Extract
  • Yohimbine Extract
  • Alpha Lipoic Acid
  • Poly-Thyronine

Synedrex old vs new

The New:

As you can see from the image above, the formula has been almost completely changed. The new formula ditches the vitamins and minerals, and sticks to the prop blend. But this blend is only 614 mg of active ingredients. Our newest generation contains:

  • Caffeine
  • 2-Aminoisoheptane
  • Eria Jarensis Extract
  • Grains of Paradise
  • Bitter Orange Extract
  • Yohimbine HCL
  • Higenamine
  • Hordenine
  • Huperzine A
  • Naringin
  • N-Methylphenethylamine (NMPEA)
  • L-Dopa
  • Poly-Thyronine

With supplements it’s rare to find an ingredient that plays one purpose. So there may be some cross over ingredients as we go into the break down. And because Synedrex is a prop blend, we have no way of knowing the exact mg of each ingredient is.

Poly-Thyronine is the only consistent ingredient between the formulas. This compound is a combination of two T2 thyroid hormone metabolites. These are compounds in the human body that help increase your metabolic rate. While also decreasing your appetite without impacting heart rate, or blood pressure.†

As you can see in the labels above, both show yohimbine as an ingredient in the prop blend. But the previous formula doesn’t state what form of yohimbine is in the formula. So we will continue the breakdown assuming they are different. HCL is pure yohimbine, and thus more potent.

The Hard Hitters

Unlike in it’s previous formula, this new version is full of stimulants. Which is a great fat burning tool. Stimulants can boost your metabolic rate and increase fat burning. But after a while people become tolerant to the effects and it stops working.

In this formula this includes:

  • Caffeine provides a solid increase in energy, focus, and alertness, as well as enhancing lipolysis in the body.†
  • 2-Aminoisoheptane is like DMAA, but not as potent. It acts as a bronchodilator. Meaning it will increase your oxygen capacity, and it also has vaso-constricting properties.†
  • Eria Jarensis Extract is a stimulant often compared to the likes of DMAA or AMP Citrate. But, is milder in energy but tends to have more of a euphoric effect while improving cognition.†
  • Bitter Orange Extract is standardized for N-methyl tyramine, octopamine, and synephrine. Which all serve to enhance the body’s natural fat burning abilities as well as energy and focus.†
  • Yohimbine HCL is a great ingredient for eliminating those areas of “stubborn fat”. It can also increase energy expenditure, ramp up lipolysis, and suppress appetite.†
  • Hordenine is similar in chemical structure to stimulants found in bitter orange.†

mood boosters

The Feel Goods

One characteristic of Synedrex that it is famous for is it’s mood boosting properties. When you feel good, you’re more likely to make good decisions. That goes across the board, from planning meals to making it to the gym. So have an arsenal of mood boosting ingredients can be you edge to get ahead on your weight loss journey. These ingredients include:

  • Caffeine,
  • 2-Aminoisoheptane,
  • Eria Jarensis Extract,
  • Yohimbine HCL,
  • Hordenine,
  • Huperzine A,
  • N-Methylphenethylamine (NMPEA),
  • L-Dopa.
*As mentioned above..

…ingredients serve many purposes. Thus there will be cross over ingredients. Stimulants are a class of psychoactive drug that increase activity in the brain. This is why they can elevate alertness, mood, and focus. Some more than others.

  • Caffeine can provide a lift to your mood, but this is most noticeable when your energy is already low.†
  • 2-Aminoisoheptane is a powerful energizer, increases focus, and elevates mood.†
  • Eria Jarensis Extract is known for its distinct euphoric feeling. These effect may lasts longer than regular PEA. Which is due to having a different molecular structure.†
  • Yohimbine HCL is a mild MAO Inhibitor with stimulant and aphrodisiac effects.†
  • Hordenine is also a natural MAO-B inhibitor. These enzymes work in your brain to degrade the amount of dopamine, serotonin, and PEA your body has. (In cases where you have an excess amount). By inhibiting this, hordenine may lead to more dopamine within your system. Which may help to boost your mood.†
  • Huperzine A is a natural anti depressant. Which has is considered useful in treating memory related diseases; like Alzheimer’s.†
  • N-Methylphenethylamine (NMPEA) increases dopamine levels in the body.†
  • L-Dopa is a precursor to dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. This means that it can cross the blood-brain barrier. When supplemented serves to enhance mood and focus.†

If you’ve read through the label, you may have noticed there was ingredients we haven’t covered:

  • Grains of Paradise
  • Naringin

Naringin is a natural chemical compound known as a bioflavanoid found in grapefruit. It also works synergistically with other nutrients, increasing the bio-availability.†

Grains of Paradise, or Paradoxine, is spice that may help increase weight loss. Better yet, the research was also done with human subjects. Paradoxine may enhance fat loss and increase energy expenditure.†

What To Expect

Now that we’ve covered what’s in Synedrex, we need to go over what you should/could feel, with Synedrex. For starters, this new formula is packed with stimulants. So although it has less total mg of active ingredients, we expect this formula to be stronger. That goes across the board for energy, appetite suppression, and focus. Next, Synedrex features a good amount of mood boosting ingredients. We expect this formula to promote a euphoric feeling. If you liked the previous formula, we would say you’re going to like this version too. But lets see what the reviews say…

There are so many reasons why I love synedrex. It’s a great appetite suppressant, which doesn’t want to make me eat. This help me make decisions of what I would eat through out the day. The New:

  • Its Back Review by Kern
    Overall Product Review

At first I was skeptical about the return of synedrex. I tried all the products that were supposed to be its replacement, and none really copied it close enough. To my surprise I saw this beautiful label again and jumped right on it. Its just like before and somewhat even more potent.

I dealt with a few days of adverse effects like jitters and even nausea, but once i got used to its potency I was solid again. Appetite suppression and tons of energy its only been a couple weeks to notice fat loss but with this caloric deficit I’m sure its to come. I’m definitely happy this is back (Posted on 8/28/2017)
